Women's Association of Trucking UK & Ireland
The Big Logistics Diversity Challenge
The Women’s Association of Trucking UK & Ireland connects, supports and represents women across trucking, transport and logistics.
Founded by Claire McKinlay and Laura Muir, the association was created to ensure women feel heard, valued and supported — behind the wheel, in depots, in offices and in leadership.
Through networking events, webinars, mentoring and peer support, we create opportunities to share experiences, build confidence, celebrate achievements and help shape positive change across the industry.
We work with members, employers and industry partners to encourage respect, inclusion and opportunities for women to thrive.
Your voice matters. Together, we can build a stronger road ahead.
"he Women’s Association of Trucking UK & Ireland is proud to support The Big Logistics Diversity Challenge because we believe everyone deserves to feel respected, included and able to thrive at work.
Our association was created to give women across trucking and transport a voice, a supportive community and opportunities to build confidence and connections. We know that positive change grows when people listen to one another, challenge assumptions and work together.
The Challenge brings that spirit to life through teamwork and shared experiences. It creates opportunities for people from different roles and backgrounds to connect, recognise each other’s strengths and see the value of an inclusive team.
For us, supporting this event is about encouraging the industry to turn good intentions into everyday action. We want women behind the wheel, in depots, in offices and in leadership to know their contribution matters and their future in logistics is valued.
By standing alongside others who share this commitment, we hope to help build an industry where belonging, respect and opportunity are part of everyone’s working day."
