Road to Logistics is a CIC, established with government funding, to tackle the driver shortage in the UK.
We aim to do this by offering individuals who may otherwise face barriers to employment, the opportunity to train to be LGV Drivers. The programme is fully funded and we work with employers across the country to provide bespoke training into employment and wrap-around support once the individuals start work. This continues for up to 2 years post placement.
Diversity and Inclusion is the core value at the heart of everything we do. By improving D&I in our driving workforce we believe that we will make logistics a much more attractive industry to new talent.
Road to Logistics want to take part in The Big Logistics Diversity Challenge as we fully the support the need for improved D&I within our industry. The Challenge encapsulates all that is important in D&I, with diverse teams of people coming together to have fun and demonstrate that inclusive teams are more effective! We are supporting the Big Logistics Diversity Challenge as we are extremely proud of our diverse workforce and think this is a fantastic event to showcase workplace diversity.
